This is an exciting opportunity to lead ICONS|ICS’s Taiwan Product Design team, driving innovation and excellence in packaging design. You will work closely with our Business Development Managers (BDMs), Marketing, Engineering, and New Product Development (NPD) teams with concept generation and development of cosmetic products. You will use your knowledge of tooling, production principles, and injection or blow-molded components and translate your innovative ideas into real world proposals suitable for mass production. The ideal candidate will be an effective leader with strong communication skills, including written and spoken English, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams. The role requires a strategic approach to market research, trend analysis, and concept development, ensuring that ICONS|ICS’s design and manufacturing capabilities are fully leveraged. The successful candidate will be self-motivated, organized, and capable of managing design resources efficiently.

Requirements:

• Strong portfolio showcasing 3D concept development.
• Advanced 2D skills, including Photoshop and Illustrator.
• Proficiency in 3D CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks) and a strong understanding of manufacturability.
• Ability to produce and interpret technical drawings.
• Excellent organizational and leadership skills.
• Experience in engaging with cross-functional teams, including marketing, engineering, and production.
• Knowledge of raw materials, production processes, tooling, and cost optimization in injection-molded and blow-molded packaging.

Experience: 3+ Years

In this role, you will be responsible for developing existing cosmetic and beauty packaging products from item selection through to production. Strong development and project management skills are a must and experience in plastic packaging development in the cosmetic and beauty industry is a plus. This role requires a detail minded person with excellent problem solving, project management, communication and negotiation skills. You will also be responsible for managing communications with the manufacturer, project management and ensuring products meet client agreed specifications, quality and regulatory requirements. You will work closely with internal quality, logistics, account management, business development, engineering, and design teams throughout the development process. You must have strong communications skills including proficiency in spoken and written English and Mandarin. Some travel within Asia required.

Requirements:

• Product development experience in plastic packaging
• Degree or equivalent experience in merchandising and product development
• Shows initiative, a good team spirit and excellent reporting habits
• Multi-tasking and reliable organization skills
• Good troubleshooting and negotiating skills
• Excellent communication skills
• Mandatory Languages – Mandarin and English
• Computer literacy including MS Office365, SharePoint and Teams.

Experience: 5+ Years

You will be responsible for developing and leading internal and external business-to-business marketing strategies, advertising, branding and event activities including planning and implementing the annual marketing calendar and marketing budget, ensuring scheduled activities are carried out efficiently and effectively to meet target KPIs and that all marketing is in line with our brand identity. You will keep abreast of new and current cosmetic packaging products, technologies, and industry trends, sharing this with internal teams, identifying new marketing opportunities and developing creative ideas into successful marketing programs from ideation to execution and evaluation.

We are looking for someone with strong leadership skills and excellent strategic marketing and communication skills with experience managing a marketing team. Experience in cosmetic and beauty packaging or fashion industry is preferred and 10 or more years’ experience in marketing, advertising or public relations related role. This role requires excellent written and verbal English communication skills so a love for great copy and compelling communication is a must. To be successful in this role, you should also have a friendly and outgoing character, be organized and have good analytical and project management skills as well as an eye for identifying and communicating new trends.

Requirements:

• Degree-level qualification

• Preferred 5-10 years’ experience in public relations, marketing, and/or advertising

• Experience in cosmetic and beauty packaging or fashion industry preferred

• Knowledge of MS Office and Adobe Suite

• Experience managing website and social media marketing

• Event management experience

• Excellent English spoken and written communication (Mandarin also preferred).

• Excellent English writing skills

• Experience living or studying abroad preferred
